October 14th Meeting

Yesterday's meeting was so much FUN! I want to thank everybody for wearing their hats. It was great to see all the different types of hats that our Lions wore. But it was even more gratifying to see all the smiles! During yesterday's meeting, our club adopted its By-Laws and Constitution, approved entry into the Christmas Lighted Parade, and were given a presentation by PDG Lion LeRoy Rapp. Almost all members were present with only 2 absent. Our next meeting will be on October 28 and it will be a MASQUERADE meeting. Please come wearing a mask of some sort. NO FACE PAINTING! Masques only! If you have any ideas regarding the Light Parade Float, please get in contact with Lion David at dcvalenz@hotmail.com or Lion Karen. She can usually be found at the K-Mart eatery working very hard. Remember, the theme is "Christmas is ___________." One final note, I want to remind everyone to keep saving those aluminum cans! It will help our club tremendously. A big ROAR to everyone!--LS David
