Condolences

Our club would like to extend our deepest condolences and sympathy to the family of Lions Bernie and Virginia Chavez, and Lion Dina Marquez. Virginia and Dina's father, Abel Marquez, passed away yesterday morning October 6th. The Vigil and Rosary will be Wednesday October 8 at 7:00pm at St. Ann's Catholic Church. The funeral Mass will be at 10:00am on October 9th, also at St. Ann's. Abel will be remembered by our club for his GREAT sense of humour, GREAT dedication to his family, and his GREAT stories of times passed and present. He will also be remembered for his unique way of expressing his theories and ideas to all and any who would listen. The funeral arrangements are being handled by Baca's Funeral Chapels of Deming.
